Our dried light-coloured silica sand is ideal for use in fire-fighting applications.
When applied directly onto a fire it suffocates the flames by removing the oxygen supply and absorbing the heat.
Recommended for use on small fires, outdoor and cooking fires that are slow burning.
Suitable for use in an electrical fire. It is also an excellent cost-effective base for fire pits.

Rainbow Eco Anti-slip sand is a top-quality pure silica sand which is added to floor paint and resins both indoors and outdoors to prevent skidding, particularly on steps and sloped areas.
